How do we deal with that? We put that question to Paul Polman, who is back in the Netherlands for a while this week. During his time as top executive of Unilever, he directed the company towards a more sustainable course, something that led to the necessary resistance at the time. He stresses the importance of one coherent story and gives policy makers some direct advice: don't talk to people, but with people.
